Creating a Trans-Led Brand That Sings: The Vocal Team Project
At Orso Design Co, I’m always honored to collaborate with queer and trans-run organizations that are building something beautiful for our community. Recently, I had the joy of crafting a storybook-inspired brand identity for The Vocal Team, a trans-run vocal coaching organization offering voice training by trans people, for trans people.
The Vocal Team wanted a whimsical, comforting brand that felt nostalgic and inclusive, drawing inspiration from the colors of the trans pride flag. Together, we created a visual identity featuring a chorus of animals — a fox, bird, and frog — singing in harmony, symbolizing the joy and diversity of trans voices. The result is a brand that feels friendly, affirming, and truly one-of-a-kind.
Working with The Vocal Team was an absolute joy, and I’m thrilled to finally share this project with the world.
Logo Design
The primary logo featured a chorus of animals signing. Alternative versions of the logo feature each animal individually.
